We would be needing scanned copy of your passport. This is required for sending you the VISA invitation letter to enable you to apply for the conference VISA for India.

Once we receive the passport copies, then we have to submit the passport details to the ministry for obtaining Ministry Permissions & No Objection Certificates (NOCs). These will be obtained closer to the conference dates & then you can apply for e-conference VISA.

This process takes time so kindly send the passport details at the earliest. Please be advised that while we endeavour to obtain the No Objection Certificates (NOCs) from the respective ministries promptly, there may be occasions where the process extends beyond our control and consumes a significant amount of time.

Steps to follow:

  • Please share scanned copy of passport after registering for the conference at registration@appes2024.org.
  • After receiving passport, we will send application to respective ministries to get the No Objection Certificates (NOCs).
  • We will get the No Objection Certificates (NOCs) from the ministries approximately a month before and then we will share these NOCs with you.
  • Once you receive the NOC from us, then you can apply for E-Conference VISA.

    Climate

    CLIMATE IN OCTOBER

    Day temperature from 30 – 23 °C.
    Night temperature from 14 – 7 °C.

    Electricity

Voltage in India is 220 to 240 volts, 50Hz. You will need an adaptor, which can be purchased in India. Hotels usually provide dual voltage razor sockets, 110 to 210 volts or 220 to 250 volts. Please ensure that you bring multi voltage chargers rather than 110 chargers with step-up/step-down transformers. These transformers get too hot and there is a high chance of them exploding. India mostly has round pinholes so please do ensure that you bring a flat to round pinhole converter. This is very important as otherwise you will have a problem in getting your phone and other electrical items charged.

    Vaccination

This depends on what locations you will be visiting. Please consult your physician and follow their recommendations. You may also check the Centers for Disease Control website at www.cdc.gov/travel

    Travel Insurance
